Today we chatted with Adriana, Principal Interior Designer at Marlin Spring Developments to learn about her unique role and how she and her team collaborate with other teams to ensure the company is delivering the best product to market. We also heard about the design trends Adriana’s most excited to see this year. With 19 residential projects currently in various stages of development, the Interior Design team are key contributors to Marlin Spring Developments' success.

Hi Adriana! Talk to us about your role and your team. What are you responsible for and how do you collaborate with other teams? What do you enjoy most about your role?

As the Principal Interior Designer, I lead the Interior Design division that Marlin Spring Developments launched more than a year ago. All Baz Group companies strive to provide the best service and product to its stakeholders. Managing the interior design of some of our current projects in-house is one way we can deliver a better product to our homeowners. We collaborate very closely with all the different departments; Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Construction, and the Financing teams to ensure we deliver a high-quality and best-in-design product on each of our developments, that not only represents the core values of the Baz Group but also showcases our reputation in the industry, prioritizing quality and value.

Can you share a memorable achievement?

The Interior Design team has achieved many milestones in a very short period of operating. From designing and coordinating Sales Offices and Towers to planning and producing construction documents for the projects we are taking care of in-house. I am particularly proud of our first designed project – a 226 unit condominium tower, located in Toronto that is about to launch in the coming weeks. This milestone shows how a great company with a solid foundation and an amazing team, can materialize a dream.

It’s only the beginning of an exciting journey that I feel privileged to be part of and lead this chapter along with the rest of the team leaders.

What design trends are you most excited to see in 2024?

I’m excited to explore innovative ideas, designs and trends specifically for small spaces and how we can improve maximizing the use of our units for our clients. As developers, we focus on providing the most efficient yet high-quality homes to our homeowners.
