The Baz Foundation's Giving Together Program represents our joint efforts as a company and as colleagues to support causes that we care about by facilitating donations to charitable organizations chosen by Baz team members.
This month, through the Giving Together Program, the Baz Foundation was pleased to make a donation to York Simcoe Brain Injury Services in honour of Denise Stewart, Vice President, Customer Experience, Marlin Spring Developments.
York Simcoe Brain Injury Services is a partnership with Mackenzie Health's Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences and the March of Dimes Canada.
Denise is connected to this program in a personal way as it is helping her son recover from a tragic injury. “York Simcoe Brain Injury Services has been instrumental in providing the regular support my son needs," said Denise. "Since receiving services from York Simcoe Brain Injury Services, my son has been making a lot of progress and is now looking at the potential in volunteering at Mackenzie hospital in the near future. He is starting to laugh again and look forward to the future. This is because of the individualized treatment York Simcoe Brain Injury Services has put in place for our son."
As a parent our worst fear is losing a child. I almost lost mine, and though he is alive he is not living his best life. The York Simcoe Brain Injury Services support services is helping my son live a better life."
By giving back together, the Baz Group and its team members become partners in both business and in corporate social responsibility.
