This week, we celebrated the Akin Stockyards Studio Opening with a fun community event which included face painting, cotton candy, art workshops, live music and delicious food.

Participants who toured the studio were amazed by the beautiful artwork and expansive, light-filled space. It was an honour to have Councillor Frances Nunziata participate in the event. 

The Akin partnership is an initiative of Marlin Spring’s Neighbour to Neighbour program which partners with and donates to many worthwhile causes and organizations in areas we are actively developing. As part of our focus on enhancing communities, we seek to make an impact and give back to local establishments that benefit the residents of the community. 

While our development team works though the approval processes for our upcoming neighbouring condominium developments we are pleased to provide the Akin group with space at 2231 St. Clair which is utilized to assist budding artists by providing affordable art studios.

We feel privileged to be supporting the local art community and doing our part to contribute to the rich and diverse culture of this fantastic neighbourhood.
